Join Polka Theatre for our first Teacher’s Continued Professional Development (CPD) day of the year, exploring Literacy through Drama.

Now entering it’s sixth year, Polka’s Write Here Write Now project has supported 400 children across 36 schools in developing their confidence, storytelling and literacy skills.

Last year, teachers reported that 93% of participants improved in their ability to structure a piece of written work, and 80% became more engaged with class activities.

In this CPD day, we’ll take a look at the research behind Write Here Write Now, as well as exploring some of the project’s most successful activities, giving you practical skills and knowledge to take back to your classroom.

This day is aimed at teachers in Key Stages 1 and 2. It will run from 11am to 3:30pm, and includes a sandwich lunch.
