Enriching children’s lives

By supporting us with a grant you can enrich children’s lives in the following ways:

  • Improving wellbeing, mental health and reducing isolation.
  • Boosting confidence, self-esteem, resilience and broadening horizons.
  • Developing key skills in communication, social-emotional understanding and self-expression.
  • Gifting joyful memories that last a lifetime and spark a love of the arts.

These are transformative changes; helping children successfully navigate their world and achieve their full potential.

Support from Trusts and Foundations is vital to our sustainability

We are grateful to have a committed group of funding bodies that range from national foundations, local funders and private trusts, to public support from London Borough of Merton and Arts Council England’s National Portfolio Organisation programme. Both longstanding relationships and new partnerships are key for Polka’s future.

We work closely with funders to align their support to an area of Polka’s work that achieves their charitable objectives. Together, we can make meaningful change and maximise the impact of your theatre fundraising.

“Thanks so much for taking the time to update me in detail. You have been so helpful and efficient throughout the funding period.”
“We all enjoyed our visit to the Polka this afternoon. Without a doubt these children will have come away from this experience with life-enhancing skills. I don’t think our funds could have gone to a better place.”
