The Box of Photographs Competition Winners!

Through Summer and Autumn 2015 Polka ran a competition for children ages 8 – 11 to submit stories that were inspired by a series of photographs. Using the brilliant ideas and characters in these stories, we are creating a brand new play for Polka’s Main Stage.

Thank you to the 500 plus young writers who sent us stories for The Box of Photographs competition. Our judges were very impressed with the wonderful ideas and creative writing and thoroughly enjoyed reading all the stories. It has been incredibly difficult choosing the final shortlist from so many brilliant entries… but we are thrilled to announce the winners of our competition!
