As a registered charity, every donation to Polka makes a difference.  Polka is for everyone, and the generosity of our amazing supporters ensures that every child can experience live theatre productions and creative learning activities. Each year, thanks to our donors, we give away 10% of theatre tickets and 50% of workshop places for free.

    Creative Learning Week 2025 ✅ Every year, our a Creative Learning Week 2025 ✅ Every year, our amazing Creative Learning department produces a full week of activities, showcasing participants from every project, class and scheme we run during the year and celebrating everyone's wonderful achievements. This year, we had: 🎤A brilliant performance by our Freefalling Young Company, our flagship project for children experiencing challenging circumstances. 📖 Two celebratory events for our Write Here Write Now creative writing programme, where professional storytellers performed the stories written by the children plus a curation of all their work in a stunning exhibition. 🖌️ Arts & crafts workshops for our Polka Invites community members where they decorated pebbles for our garden. 🎭 End of term showcases for Act 1, Act 2 and Youth Theatre clubs on the Main Stage. What a week, so much creativity, so much courage and so much fun! Alongside Chloe Stephens and guest speakers from Polka’s Producing and Artistic teams, you will explore how to make theatre for an early years audience and develop your skills in this practical and joyful course. Wednesday evenings between 24 September - 3 December (no session 29 October) 7 - 9pm £264
