Polka Invites is a funded programme, which aims to increase access to creative experiences at Polka, for families in our community who otherwise could not attend.
Thank you to the Hugo Halkes Charitable Trust for supporting The Hugo Halkes Ticket Fund, enabling Polka to provide tickets free of charge.
What’s Polka Invites?
Polka Invites has been created to allow us to support new audiences, by offering FREE and subsidised creative opportunities for children and families to enjoy.
Who is Polka Invites for?
Polka Invites is a funded scheme for families and children who are unable to access creative experiences due to financial barriers or other limitations.
What’s on offer?
A range of FREE and discounted activities, including:
- Selected performances*
- Saturday Club – a family event on the first Saturday of each month with storytelling, puppet making, craft activities etc*
- Take Part - after school and holiday workshops*
- Discounted drinks in the Café
The theatre has indoor and outdoor play spaces, a buggy park, toilets, a reading corner and dressing up. All of this is completely free. Everyone is welcome.
