Saturday fun for all
The first Saturday of each month, age 3+

Join us for a fun creative session for all the family to enjoy together. Take part in an exciting and varied programme of activities from interactive storytelling, sharing stories and music from around the world, music-making, dance and movement workshops to puppet making, creative cooking and sensory stories in the garden.

October 5	Beatbox Power! Learn a new skill this Autumn, with our beatbox master and hip-hop artist, Conrad Murray. Explore how to perform lyrics to a beat, have fun with rhythms, rhymes and raps and learn the basics of beatboxing.	2pm	Book Now
November 2	Dance to the Beat Enter our colourful studio with an interactive dance floor to celebrate Diwali! Join us in this South Asian dance workshop where you will explore moves to traditional Indian music.	10.30am	Book Now
December 7	Polka's Singalong Come gather round Polka’s piano and learn some festive songs with our choir leader. Join us for a joyful singalong with your family and friends ahead of the winter holidays, while enjoying a mince pie or two! Everyone is welcome. January 4	New Year New Skill Take part in an introduction to Tai Chi, the ancient Chinese martial arts for a relaxing & reenergising start to the year! For all the family, learn or develop your inner zen, sense of empowerment & grounding by practising the mind-body connection techniques that focus on gentle movements, such as, balance & coordination, channelling energy through the powers of deep breathing, meditation & exploratory play	10.30am	Book Now
February 1	Lunar Festival Stories Celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Snake with a traditional storytelling packed full of mythical creatures & scenic sounds. Follow our performers on a Lunar journey as they transport you & your family through magical movement and music on this story adventure. Interact with majestic props and take part together in retelling the history of the Lunar New Year, while celebrating the festivities that will be sure to bring excitement, drama & fun to your day!	2pm	Book Now
March 1	Space, Crafts and Take Off! Join us to mark British Science Week this March (7 – 16 March 2025) and create a space scene with shadow puppets of astronauts, planets or aliens, as well as crafting a space rocket that can be launched outside. Setting the scene in our sensory space studio, you’ll feel ready to countdown with our ‘rocket launcher’ as your rockets blast off into the open skies! Save the memories by taking your own mini video of your rocket launches & shadow puppet space play in Polka’s studio before returning back home.	2pm	Book Now
April 5	Ready, Set, Grow! Spring into action in our Polka garden, creating, planting and preparing for the fresh shoots of the season! Come rain or shine, we will be outside nurturing the current growth of sensory plants, along with digging new homes for a range of seasonal flowers. Enjoy the fresh springtime air and learn more about our natural world, discovering fun facts about homegrown herbs, vegetables & more! Once you’ve finished planting, the fun doesn’t end as we’ll have plenty of Polka pots for you to decorate, using a multitude of recyclable materials, such as, tissue paper, biodegradable glitter & ribbon to make the perfect home for your own plant.	10.30am	Book Now
