What your support can bring to life:
£50 pays for a local family from our Polka Invites community network to attend a Polka show together
£250 pays for a workshop for children from a Special Educational Needs School in Polka’s sensory space
£600 pays for a BSL interpreter for a show in the Y C Chan Theatre
£700 pays for a year bursary place on Write Here Write Now for a child who is struggling at school to grow in confidence and discover a love of storytelling
£1,500 pays for an entire Curtain Up! show in the Adventure Theatre offering up to 90 children and their teachers a magical first-time experience
£5,000 pays for an entire Curtain Up! show in the Y C Chan Theatre, filling every seat with 300 children and teachers from a school who otherwise would not be able to access Polka

Audience Feedback
Polka’s Individual Giving schemes (Guardians, Superheroes, and Champions) comprise a voluntary donation and a payment (including VAT) for the associated benefits.
Benefits can be purchased separately. Any amounts given over and above the benefits value are a donation and can be eligible for Gift Aid. Champions: £425 donation/£75 inc VAT benefits, Super Heroes £1,300 donation/£200 inc VAT benefits, Guardians £4,800 donation/£200 inc VAT benefits.
If you wish to receive no benefits in return for your support, then your full contribution can be a donation and therefore all of it eligible for Gift Aid. Please contact us to arrange this.
