During these weekly drama sessions, children will explore acting and performance skills in a safe and friendly environment. Children will learn to have fun with improvisation and role-play, as well as discovering new characterisation and movement exercises. The group will create their own stories, devise group performances and develop a wide range of theatre techniques along the way.

Interested in your child achieving their Arts Award?

Polka are pleased to offer Arts Award as part of our Summer Terms for Act 2 club participants. By signing up now, your child will be enrolled for completing the Arts Award programme through the Summer terms for Discover level. 

Arts Award is a nationally recognised qualification for children and young people aged 5 – 25 years old. For those taking the award, the Polka Creative Learning team & practitioners in Act 2 club will provide all the extra resources & materials as part of their time taking part with us. Children will enjoy recording & sharing their discoveries of arts from theatre skills, movement and more!

Our team of professional theatre facilitators and our Arts Award adviser will guide the children on an exciting journey, where they will receive their very own logbook & accredited certificate on completion of the course.
