Q&A panels

You Shouldn’t Make That for Children – 11.45am – 12.45pm

In an increasingly polarised society, how do programmers, commissioners and artists respond to the idea that some topics, themes, genres and styles shouldn’t be made for child audiences. With Kate Cross (The Egg), Adjjima Na Patalung (Imaginate Festival), Rachel Bagshaw (The Unicorn) and Helen Matravers (Polka Theatre).

How Do We Solve a Problem like Touring – 1.45pm – 2.45pm

Digging into the ever more difficult touring circuit, exploring hidden costs and unexpected Contras, administrative and marketing demands and the pastoral support needed to produce a long-running touring show. With Little Seeds, Turtle Key Arts and more to be annouced.

Available in Day pass, Workshop pass and Q&As pass.

Show

Multicolore – 6 – 6.30pm

Join us for an exclusive showing of Cie En Attendant La Marée’s Multicolore.

A story of friendship against a colourful backdrop.

“White” lives happily in his white world, unfamiliar with the taste of colour.

Until the day a stranger, “Multicolore,” moves into the house across the street.

Multicolore is a bag puppet show exploring the theme of difference through colour, with live music and a soundscape to illustrate the story.

Available for all ticket types. Please email producing@polkatheatre.com to book your place. Please note capacity is limited.
