Your Visit

There’s always space at Polka to play, laugh, discover and create. Our welcoming venue is home to a friendly cafe, a garden, playground and a fun-filled foyer with toys, books, dressing up and colouring in.  With something for children all ages it’s a unique place where you can share magical moment with your children.

The Adventure Theatre is a cosy performance space and the perfect place to introduce under 5s to live theatre. Children can sit on the carpet to get close to the action, with additional seating available for adults. The Main Stage is our larger theatre, but still intimate enough to ensure everyone feels close to the magic. Expect a range of shows to inspire and entertain; from imaginative new plays to inventive adaptations of popular stories.

We strongly encourage parents and guardians to follow this age guidance and chose the live experience best suited for your child.

Main Stage Admissions Policy: Unless stated otherwise, children under the age of 4 will only be admitted to All Ages Welcome performances.
