Act, create, imagine, explore…Polka’s After-School Drama Club.

Polka will be back delivering a variety of drama games and activities at Singlegate Primary School this Autumn, kicking through the leaves and jumping in imaginary puddles as we go on an environmental adventure! As well as developing existing skills, the children will learn new ones, including role-play, characterisation and physical theatre to develop communication, social skills, build confidence and encourage self-expression.

This Autumn Term we will be exploring the natural world, learning how to care for and protect our environment. From the tiniest acorn to the tallest tree, we will use techniques such as storytelling, music and creativity to learn more about the natural environments that surround us.

We are looking forward to working together again after the Summer break and being inspired by Polka’s new season of Productions, all connected to embracing everything from the weather to wildlife, from recycling to renewable energy.
