Booking & Ticket Information

How To Book

Call ☎️ or email 📧 our Box Office team so we can help you plan your school theatre trip. We just need to know the show and date you are interested in, the number of children you are planning to bring, what package you are interested in, and we will work out the rest for you.

We are able to accommodate school and nursery bookings for all of our shows, but please do follow age guidance.

Pricing

Tickets for school groups start from as little as £10.

We offer 1 complimentary ticket for every 10 tickets booked. These are intended for teachers but are not dependent on the number of teachers/chaperones attending.

Please note: this is a reservation only. Booking is confirmed once you’ve received an invoice from Polka.

We look forward to welcoming you and your class to our theatre.

Extras

We can offer a workshop on-site at Polka for up to 30 children at a reduced rate when booked alongside a performance.

We can also offer a space for your school to eat packed lunches for a small fee as part of your booking, subject to availability.

Once a booking is confirmed an invoice will be issued.

Schools will be invoiced and asked to make payment within 4 weeks of booking. Where available we can offer to invoice for a deposit of 50% to secure the booking. Full and final payment must be made no less than 10 working days ahead of the performance.

Plan Your Visit

What To Expect

You will be attending a schools performance, which means there will mainly be school groups present when you watch the show. However, we are a community space. This means there will likely be families with smaller children sharing the building with you when you visit.

Our building has been designed with children in mind, their safety and comfort are paramount. Everything from toilet facilities to coat hooks and rubbish collection has been considered. When you arrive, a member of the team will greet you at our automatic doors and guide you to where you need to be.

We know it’s no small task taking a class group out and about, so our experienced staff are specially trained to support your needs during your time at Polka.

Read our Safeguarding policy.

Travel

When you visit Polka there’s a lot more to do than just see a show, so please come and make the most of our wonderful new venue…
