“A lot of my confidence as a child came from going to Polka. Just being able to see all these magical shows, being able to take part in that myself, it shaped a bit of who I am”
– Annie, a previous Polka participant, aged 17

Help us to have a positive impact on the lives of children and safeguard Polka for future generations.

More than ever before, children need creativity in their lives. Today’s social and political climates pose many challenges to families, from financial hardship to emotional distress and isolation. With your help, every child has equal opportunity to access joyful and fun creative opportunities at Polka. Our work introduces children to the magic of theatre, inspiring them to harness their creativity while developing their confidence and empathy, enhancing their wellbeing and setting them up for a bright future.

We’re very grateful for every gift we receive, no matter how small or large. General donations can be directed to where the need is greatest, or you can donate to a particular area of our work. You can support our projects for disadvantaged children in schools and community settings, exciting upcoming Polka productions, or the ongoing redevelopment of our much-loved venue. You can also get involved at Polka by participating at fundraising events, becoming a member, volunteering with us, or simply donating today.
