In March 2023 children from Abbey Pre-School, South Wimbledon, and Acacia Pre-School, Mitcham, took part in Polka’s community project, inspired by Let’s Build!
We showed them the below map of Merton (designed by Malcolm Reid) to introduce the idea of going on a journey around the borough, stopping at various landmarks along the way.
With the help of Polka practitioner, Salihah Agbaje and Sound Designer, Simon Beyer, the staff and children at the pre-schools explored the different sounds they would hear.
