Data Protection

In becoming a Polka member or production supporter, you agree to Polka Theatre using your details to process your membership and to provide you with membership services and manage your membership. Polka Theatre will also keep in touch with you to share news, and special offers relating to events, membership, productions, products, services and fundraising. Polka is committed to protecting your privacy. We will not share or sell your data to any third party.

You can unsubscribe from mail or emails by contacting development@polkatheatre.com or by calling 020 8545 8368 (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm).

Cancellation

You have the right to cancel your membership without a reason within 14 days of the conclusion of the contract. To cancel your order, you must contact Polka via email at development@polkatheatre.com or by writing to: Membership, Polka Theatre, 240 The Broadway, London, SW19 1SB.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is enough for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of Cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse you all payments received from you. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:
a) 14 days after the day we receive from you any goods supplied, or
b) If there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. If you paid by Standing Order, then instead of arranging any reimbursement through us you will need to request reimbursement through an indemnity claim with your own bank. Please contact us so that we can explain what you need to do.

You shall send back the membership welcome communication, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation of this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the cost of returning those goods.

We will charge you for any membership benefits you have taken before you cancel, such as the purchase of discounted tickets. The charge will be in proportion to what has been performed until you have communicated to us your cancellation from this contract, in comparison with the full contract.
