Ernest Hecht Charitable Foundation joins Curtain Up! supporters

Curtain Up! is our established free ticket scheme enabling 2,000 primary school children per year from disadvantaged locations in Merton, Croydon, Wandsworth and the surrounding boroughs to experience theatre – often for the first time. On 4th April 2022 we announced that we were planning to double the number of Curtain Up! tickets by the summer holidays, giving away a total of 4,000 school tickets by the end of this coming summer term.

We’re delighted to announce that the Ernest Hecht Charitable Foundation has become the latest supporter of the scheme, with a significant grant of £25,000. This will enable us to deliver on our promise of 4,000 free tickets by July, as well as kickstart the Curtain Up! scheme for the autumn term.

We want to thank the Trustees of the Ernest Hecht Charitable Foundation for all their support. We are overjoyed they have joined a fantastic list of committed supporters who all make Curtain Up! possible.
